ARIZONA CORPORATION COMMISSION

ARIZONA CORPORATION COMMISSION SEEKS The Arizona Corporation Commission is conducting a national search for a Securities Division Director. "The candidate must be able to effectively monitor securities activities in Arizona", said Geoffrey Gonsher, Executive Secretary of the Commission. "Protecting the individual investor from fraud is a key goal of the Securities Division", Gonsher added. The Securities Division is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the securities marketplace through registration and oversight of brokers and sales personnel, investment advisers and their representatives, through registration of securities, and through investigations. "The ideal candidate will possess a law degree, and have five years of experience in the securities industry", Gonsher said. "Experience with the U. S. Securities and Exchange Commission would be a plus", he added. Gonsher named Victor Rodarte, the Chief Deputy Director of the Securities Division, to serve as acting director while a national search is conducted.
