The Arizona Corporation Commission will hold a hearing in Tucson on the Tucson Electric Power Company request to form a holding company. The two-day hearing is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 2, 1997 in the Commission hearing room, Room 222, 400 W. Congress, Tucson, and is expected to continue on Friday, October 3^rd in the same location. The hearing will begin with an opportunity for the public to comment on the TEP proposal.

The Corporation Commission staff has filed testimony supporting approval of the TEP holding company request.
