COMMISSION ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER |

|
PHOENIX, AZ / May 29, 1998 - Jack Rose, Executive Secretary of the Arizona Corporation Commission, today announced the appointment of Perry Baker to the position of Public Information Officer for the agency. Baker is a former Public Information Officer for both the City of Phoenix and Maricopa County and has over twenty years experience in the public communications arena, including experience as a broadcast news reporter and press secretary to an Arizona Congressman. |

In making his announcement, Rose stated, "This is an exciting time for the ACC as we continue the process of deregulating electrical utilities in Arizona. We realize that we need to increase our communications and education programs to help the public understand what any changes will mean to them. Mr. Baker 's expertise will help us to accomplish this goal." |
