ACC Holding Public Comment Session on Gold Canyon Sewer Rate Request |
PHOENIX – The Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) will hold a public comment session for customers of Gold Canyon Sewer Company at the Superstition Room of the Mountainbrook Village Activities Center on September 13, 2006, starting at 6:00 p.m. Gold Canyon Sewer Company serves approximately 5,300 customers in northeastern Pinal County, Arizona. On January 13, 2006, Gold Canyon Sewer Company filed an application for a permanent rate increase of almost 100 percent. A formal hearing with sworn testimony is scheduled for October 3, 2006 in the Commission’s Phoenix, Arizona Hearing Room. The Commission is not bound by the proposals made by the Company, Staff, or any intervenors and, therefore, the final rates approved in this docket may differ from what the applicant requests. Copies of the application and proposed tariffs are available at the company’s offices and on the internet via the Commission website (www.azcc.gov) using the E-docket function (Docket Number: SW-02519A-06-0015). Local officials and Gold Canyon customers are invited to share their concerns with the Commissioners.
